Personal information

William Anthony Paddon served four years in the Royal Canadian Navy and was aboard HMCS Teme when she was torpedoed in March 1945. After the war he worked for years for the Grenfell Hospital in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, serving the people of Northern Newfoundland and Southern Labrador. On 21 June 2014 the new Canadian Forces Building in St. John's was named after him. Dr. Paddon also did a term as Lt. Governor of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
