History | The HMCS Waskesiu's bell is at Prince Albert in a museum. These frigates were named after towns and cities but because the name Prince Albert was already chosen for a ship in the British Royal Navy, the city decided to go with the name the Prince Albert National Park townsite - Waskesiu. Decomissioned 29 January 1946. |
