History	Decommissioned and transferred to the R.N. as HMS Ameer on 19 July 1943. Commissioned in R.N. service on 20 July 1943. Returned to the U.S.N. on 17 January 1946. Stricken on 20 March 1946. Sold into merchantile service on 17 September 1946 being renamed Robin Kirk. Scrapped in Taiwan in 1969.
