HMS Uther (Lt. A.A. Catlow, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Tobermory with HMCS Qa'Appelle (Cdr. D.C. Wallace, DSC, RCNR), HMS Lightfoot (Lt.Cdr. T.M. Williams, RNR) and HMS Longa (T/Lt. H.E. Smith, SANF(V)). (1)

HMS Venturer (Lt. J.S. Launders, DSC, RN) ended her 4th war patrol at Lerwick. She departed for Dundee later the same day. She was escorted by HMS Lightfoot (Lt.Cdr. T.M. Williams, RNR). (2)
