Lauderdale's last tour with the Royal Navy was her refit for loan to Greece.
Her route was as follows: 9 August 45 Portsmouth 12 August 45 Gibraltar 13 August 45 Casablanca 16 August 45 Freetown 31 August 45 Cape town 6 September 45 Durban dry-dock for refit She left Durban on 16 January 1946 with a crew of 152 to Gibraltar via Aden, Port Said, Suez and Malta Handed over to Greece on 7 May 1946.
