HrMs O 10 (Lt. J.H. Geijs, RNN) participated in A/S exercises off Tobermory together with HMS Narcissus (Lt. W.G.H. Bolton, RNR), HMS Stonecrop (A/Lt.Cdr. J.V. Brock, RCNVR), HMS Monkshood (Lt.Cdr. J.E.R. Wilford, RNR) and FFS Lobelia. (1)
23 Jul 1942
HrMs O 21 (Lt.Cdr. J.F. van Dulm, RNN) conducted exercises in the Clyde area. These included a practice attack on HMS Narcissus (Lt. W.G.H. Bolton, RNR). (2)

HMS H 32 (Lt. J.R. Drummond, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Lough Foyle with HMS Cowdray (Lt.Cdr. C.W. North, RN), HMS Narcissus (Lt. W.G.H. Bolton, RNR) and FFS Renoncule. (3)

HMS H 43 (Lt. J.C.Y. Roxburgh, DSC, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Lough Foyle with HMS Pelican (Cdr. G.V. Gladstone, RN), HMS Sennen (Lt.Cdr. R.S. Abram, RN), HMS Narcissus (Lt. W.G.H. Bolton, RNR), HMS Heather (T/Lt. W.L. Turner, RNR) and FFS Renoncule. (4)

HMS Stonehenge (Lt. D.S.M. Verschoyle-Campbell, DSC and Bar, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Larne with FFS Aconit, HMS Narcissus (Lt. W.G.H. Bolton, RNR), HMS Towy (Cdr. M.J Evans, OBE, RN) and HMS Keppel (Lt.Cdr.(Retd.) J. Byron, DSC, RNR). Also night attack exercises were carried out on a dummy convoy. (5)
