HMS Ekins is not listed as active unit in the October 1945 Navy List Scrapped in the Netherlands. |

German U-boat U-212 was sunk in the English Channel south of Brighton, in position 50°27'N, 00°13'W, by depth charges from the British frigates HMS Curzon (Lt.Cdr. A. Diggins, RN) and HMS Ekins (Lt. G. Bonner-Davies, RN).
