Stonehenge (Lt. D.S.M. Verschoyle-Campbell, DSC and Bar, RN) departed her builders yard at Birkenhead for Holy Loch. She is escorted during this passage by the British ASW trawler HMS Mazurka (A/Skr.Lt. J. Baxter, RNR). (2)

HMS Unbending (Lt. J.D. Martin, DSC, RN) departed Plymouth for Fishguard. She was escorted by HMS Mazurka (A/Skr.Lt. J. Baxter, RNR). (3)

HMS H 34 (Lt. R.L. Jay, RN) departed Portsmouth for Rothesay. At the same time HMS Stoic (Lt. P.B. Marriott, DSO, RN) also departed Portsmouth. The submarines were escorted by the Free French Chasseur 14 until 1700 hours when rendez-vous was made with HMS Unbending (Lt. J.D. Martin, DSC, RN) and escort HMS Mazurka (A/Skr.Lt. J. Baxter, RNR) both coming from Plymouth. Chasseur 14 and HMS Stoic then parted company. (4)
