HMS Loch Monteith (Lt.Cdr. F.R. Pope, RNR) picks up 62 survivors from the British merchant Chagres that was sunk after hitting a mine laid on 6 January 1940 by German U-boat U-30 5.5 nautical miles bearing 270° from the Bar Light Vessel off Liverpool in approximate position 53°33'N, 03°25'W.

9 Nov 1943
HrMs K XIV (Lt.Cdr. J.F. Drijfhout Van Hooff, RNN) departed Dundee for Holy Loch. She made the passage together with HrMs O 15 (Lt.Cdr. A.J. Schouwenaar, RNN) that was to proceed to Scapa Flow.

They were escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR). HMS Sardonyx (T/A/Lt.Cdr. E. Playne, RNVR) took over the escort of K XIV near Scapa Flow. They then proceeded south through the Minches towards Holy Loch.

18 Nov 1943
HMS Seadog (Lt. C.R. Pelly, RN) departed Dundee for Lerwick. She was escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR). (1)

19 Nov 1943
HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR) collided with a ship from a convoy. She and HMS Seadog (Lt. C.R. Pelly, RN) put into Aberdeen. Passage was continued later the same day. (1)

30 Nov 1943
HMS Satyr (Lt. T.S. Weston, RN) departed Lerwick for Dundee. She made the passage together with the Norwegian submarine HNoMS Ula (Lt. S. Valvatne). They were escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR). (2)

7 Dec 1943
HMS Sceptre (Lt. I.S. McIntosh, MBE, DSC, RN) ended her 3rd war patrol at Lerwick. She departed for Holy Loch later the same day together with HMS Sea Nymph (Lt. J.P.H. Oakley, DSC, RN). They were escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR). In the moring of 9 December by HMS La Capricieuse (Lt.Cdr.(Retd.) C.M. Norman, RN) took over the escort. (3)

9 Dec 1943
HMS Trident (Lt. P.E. Newstead, RN), HMS Unrivalled (Lt. H.B. Turner, DSC, RN) and HMS Unshaken (Lt. J. Whitton, RN) all arrived at Tobermory.

The submarines departed later the same day for the east coast of the U.K. escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR). (4)

HMS Satyr (Lt. T.S. Weston, RN) departed Dundee for Lerwick. She made the passage together with the Dutch submarine HrMs O 15 (Lt.Cdr. A.J. Schouwenaar, RNN). They were escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR). (2)

17 Dec 1943
HMS Trusty (Lt.Cdr.(Retd.) J.R.G. Harvey, RN) departed Blyth for Rothesay. She makes the passage together with HMS Uther (Lt. P.S. Beale, RN) and HMS Ursula (Lt. A.G. Davies, RN). They were escorted by HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR) until 1305/18 when HMS Sardonyx (T/A/Lt.Cdr. E. Playne, RNVR) took over the escort. Also HMS Telemachus (Cdr. W.D.A. King, DSO, DSC, RN) joined the convoy. (5)

24 Apr 1944
At 0700 hours HMS Loch Monteith (T/Lt. K.W. Richardson, RNR) took over the escort of HMS Sibyl (Lt. E.J.D. Turner, DSO, DSC, RN) and HrMs O 19 (Lt.Cdr. A. van Karnebeek, RNN) to Dundee. (6)

28 Aug 1944
