History | HMT Horatio (T/Lt. Charles Alfred Lemkey, RNR) was torpedoed and sunk on 7 January 1943 by the German motor torpedo boat S-58 off Cape de Garde, Algeria. Only two members (Stephen Hooper and George Venables) of the crew survived the sinking, they were picked up by the Germans. |
