USS Mulberry picks up the survivors of the American merchant Cardonia that was torpedoed and sunk the day before by German U-boat U-126 about 5 nautical miles west-north-west of the St. Nicholas Mole, Haiti in position 19°53'N, 73°27'W.
6 May 1942
USS Mulberry picks up the survivors of the American merchant Afoundria that was torpedoed and sunk the day before by German U-boat U-108 about 8 nautical miles north of Le Male Light, Haiti in position 19°59'N, 73°26'W.
